The Coast Guard performed a medical evacuation of a 32-year-old man from the charter vessel D&D 30 miles west of Tillamook Tuesday.

Coast Guard Group Air Station Astoria recieved a call at 6:55 a.m. from the D&D reporting a man aboard the vessel was possibly suffering from a heart attack.  An HH-60 helicopter crew was dispatched to the scene where they performed a hoist of the man from the vessel.

The patient was taken to Tillamook Hospital for treatment.
