A 16-year old Seaside girl is the alleged victim of abduction and a rape by a 25-year old man from the state of Washington. Alden Mitchel Buchholz was booked into the Clatsop County Jail at 3:27p.m. Saturday.
The alleged crimes occurred earlier in the day according to District Attorney Josh Marquis, who tells KAST that Buchholz remains in custody following his arraignment Monday. Bail set at $1-million for multiple measure eleven offenses, which means if convicted he faces mandatory prison sentences of at least eight years “on up” on each charge according to Marquis. The girl was allegedly kidnapped from an arcade in Seaside and forced her to have sex and may or may not have drugged her in some fashion. The alleged crimes took place at a condominium that Buchholz was staying at.
The victim’s grandfather tells KAST that the girl is okay following her ordeal.
